S.G.Ellis provides NICEIC-approved electrical installation, testing, maintenance and reactive repair services for businesses, schools, housing providers, healthcare organisations and homes across Bradford, Leeds and Yorkshire.

 

Our ‘white goods’ and domestic appliance service is second to none with either the same day or next working day visits. We repair all types of appliances such as fridges, freezers, laundry equipment and the full range of cooking equipment. We buy direct from manufacturers passing on savings to our customers. We stock all cooking types of appliances to enable us to replace on a same day service should the need require

 

We are probably one of the biggest portable appliance testing companies in the UK carrying out approximately 4,500 – 5,000 tests per week.

 

Our electrical testing services include Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for residential, commercial, industrial, educational and office premises of any size. Inspection and testing are carried out in accordance with the current edition of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and applicable NICEIC requirements.

 

We offer both quarterly and annual fire alarm testing and repairs, full emergency light testing and repairs with certification for both.

 

Our data division has grown considerably over the last few years and covers computer network installation to CAT5e and CAT 6, fibre optic installations and telephone installations.

 

Our CCTV division is well established installing dome cameras and digital hard drives linked to networks and accessible over the internet. Schools in particular are a major customer source for this type of CCTV.

 

Access control systems are a significant and growing part of our business where we include proximity, numeric, biometric and swipe card systems as a speciality.

 

We specialise in domestic electric wet systems for both repairs and replacements

 

We also carry out all general electrical repairs, i.e. lighting, heating and power on projects from small domestic repairs to major commercial and academic facilities
